Sailboat-Direct.com proposes a unique opportunity:

A yacht ownership in a 50 ft racing sloop  :  We are looking for  passionates interested in participating in regattas like :

• Antigua Week - April
  
• Heineken Regatta St Marteen - March
  
• International Rolex Regatta St Thomas USVI - March
  
• British Virgin islands Spring Regatta - March
  
• International Sailing Regatta Key West - January
• Miami / Nassau Race Week - February

The racing sailboat is a 50 ft German frers IOR Racing Sloop. Other regattas can be added to the planned calendar based on share owners requests.

Main Conditions

2 possible shares (based on a minimum of 12 share owners.)

Full share: US $10,000 for a 5 years period. This share includes 100% of the racing program per year.

Half share: US $5,000 for a 5 years period. This share includes 50% of the racing program per year.

1. We are looking for share owners to purchase the boat. When the boat is not racing, it would be available to the share owners for private cruises and training.

2. Monthly maintenance : boat slip , insurance.... is estimated as $150 /month / share owner. (may decrease based on the number of share owners)

Special expenses like new sails or new equipment will be presented to the share owners and will need the majority of votes  to be approved.

3. The boat will be located in Miami, Florida for easy access during the off season and in the caribbeans during the regattas season.

4. Sailboat-Direct will be responsible for the professional maintenance in the Miami base. 

It is a unique opportunity to participate in exclusive ragattas in the caribbeans and South florida while aboard a very competitive boat.

Furthermore, if for any reason, you can not participate in a regatta, you can always nominate a person of your choice to take your place for a specific event or Sailboat-Direct can attempt to sell the crew position for a particular regatta .  

We plan to organize training sessions during the off season for share owners interested to do more sailing in the Miami area.
